Get it every week
Pick the general edition or one specialty. You can hold both.
- One email a week. Never a second one, whatever happens in between.
- Your address, and nothing else. No name, no institution, no tracking pixel, never sold or shared.
- One click unsubscribes and deletes the record — not a flag on a list we keep.
- Prefer no email at all? The same opportunities are on the RSS feed, which asks for no address.
What is in every issue
- The week in four numbers New this week, closing inside 21 days, open in total, and the largest per-award ceiling on the table.
- New this week Everything our crawler saw for the first time in those seven days, still open, soonest deadline first. An announcement published as an R01 and an R21 is one row carrying both.
- Closing this week Seven days or less, flagged final call. At this range the question is whether to submit something you already have — not whether to start one.
- Still worth starting Eight to 21 days out, with enough runway left to actually write. It gets its own budget of rows, so a pile of final calls can never crowd it out.
- Biggest on the table The largest per-award ceilings still open that the lists above did not already show you. A programme quoting one ceiling across every sub-programme it contains is left out — that number is a span, not a cheque.
- Deadline outlook How the open pipeline falls across the next 30, 60 and 90 days — the number a research office plans against.
- Spotlight A different specialty each week: how many calls are open, what they typically pay, and the next three deadlines. (General edition.)
- Recompete radar NIH awards on your specialty whose project period ends within 18 months — money coming free, and an incumbent likely to recompete. (Specialty editions.)
- The landscape behind the calls One number in context: how this NIH fiscal year compares with the last, and the largest award on record in it.
Every issue ends with what it was compiled from and how many of those records state a machine-readable deadline. A field the sponsor never stated is left out, not guessed at.
